Orlando,Fla., April 20,2008---Nickelodeon Family Suites by Holiday Inn is offering daily entertainment for families. A way to keep them at the hotel, the Nickelodeon resort has created a new and exciting event in the resort.
A live poolside event will be going on everyday, at one of the top family resorts. As the resort likes to say," Families will let the pies fly and the slime is primed. High energy music and an enthusiastic cast will help motivate guests to participate in the entertainment."
"Nick hotel has created a fun and exciting atmosphere for our guests," says Aquatics Manager Jennifer Otero. "Our mission is to create a place where children will enjoy time off from the parks while parents can relax by the pool."
The poolside entertainment consists of trivia games, sliming competitions, and live music. Children from all ages are invited to join along in the daily event from 11:30 a.m. or a later time at 2:00 p.m. "Kids can enjoy sliming each other with our infamous green slime," says event volunteer and Assistant Aquatics Manager, Gaby Durand. " The slime has a way of turning everything into fun, so why not bring it to the pool?"
"I believe this entertainment for our poolside guests will allow families to enjoy their time at the resort allowing for everyone to create fun memories," says lifeguard Jason Roach.
The resort has a plan for more events coming up. As for now, they are excited to see how guests react to this new idea. For hotel reservations and more information, go to www.nickhotel.com.

Orlando Farmers Market
By Jessica A. Otero
ORLANDO,Fla.--- It is that time of the year for some of Orlando's best live entertainment, gourmet food, art, and more.
This seasonal occasion is known as Orlando Farmers Market. This event comes around every year from September until May.
Citizens from all around the city come to taste international food, watch live entertainment, walk around Lake Eola and observe art work from many local artists." I love admiring the artwork from these local artists. It is fascinating to see all of this undiscovered talet," says local teacher, Stacey Rose.
The crowds around Lake Wola are teachers, senior citizens, and parents with their children. This event is for all ages, as even children can enjoy playing games and doing crafts. "I bring my children every Sunday after church because this is a great way to get them away from watching television when they are off from school," says mother of two, Felicia Ramirez.
The Orlando Farmers Market brings vendors every year who love to cook, show off their art work, and sell some of their homemade jewelry. This year, the Lake Eola Park setting has allowed for even more food vendors. "This is my second time coming here with my wife and we love being able to cook for the public," says retired chef, John Martins. Crowds can expect a taste of gourmet food from so many different flavors. These tastes range from Italian fried ravioli, Chinese egg rolls, and even German hot dogs.
Many local artists displayed paintings of abstract to patriotic. They also displayed handmade jewelry. All of these vendors are veterans to this event or up and coming business owners wanting to test how the public will respond to their products.
The Orlando Farmers Market is a great opportunity to spend the day just hafint fun on a good weather day. Many people spend their time playing games, eating great food, and just enjoying a day in the sun.
